[How is this cafe so CUTE? Aina is already waiting at a table close to the (sadly less adorable) food dispenser, the gloves of her idol costume folded and set to the side. She beams at Akari and gives her an enthusiastic wave.]

No worries!

[Akari is still in her monster form as she approaches the table. She stares blankly at the chair trying to decide how she’s gonna get her centaur butt on there when the room helpfully poofs her back to her normal short little human self. She stumbles forward, still not familiar with the return to only two legs.]

Oof. Man, that doesn’t get easier. A-anyway, it’s so nice to have a normal spot for a change! [She plops into the chair across from Aina]

[Just two legs? Well, that's all right. Probably gets a little crazy trying to navigate cutlery with an additional set of limbs to tuck away, Aina thinks. She crosses her legs at the ankle and leans forward, hands folded under her chin, and her smile remains sincere.]

Oh my gosh, right? I'm still kinda shakey on what a room for "hydroponics" is supposed to be, but I do know that it's to~tally not the right space to inspire romance. At least the firing range has a bit of a thrill to it, y'know?

Hydroponics is the practice of growing plants in things other than soil, like water! It’s pretty cool, but definitely not prime romance material. And, like, the med bay? Give me a break!

This place is way cuter. Too bad the food offerings seem just as dodgy as the cafeteria, though. [Maybe it was foolish to have expected anything more, she ponders.]

D'ya think it's too much for me to hope for a slice of tiramisu, or even just some decent fruit-y yogurt?

[She squints over at the machine.]

Hmm! I wonder about that.

[Now she’s squinting at it as well. Currently in rotation: Tea leaves, eggs, brown sugar, raspberries, bread.]

Seems like it’s mostly just ingredients so we’d probably have to make it ourselves. That could be fun, though? There’s a kitchen here, after all. We could grab what’s there and then wait and see what turns up next? It probably rotates again here in a bit at the hour, like the cafeteria does.

Maybe... we could make raspberry compote? That's just sugar, water, and the raspberries, right? And put that over the bread! Which we can turn into toast in the kitchen!

Hey, yeah, that could possibly work! It’s a shame we don’t have flour or I could make a simple cake… [Sorry Akari, I couldn’t make it that easy for you.] …but toast is fine too! It’ll be an Aina and Akari Special!

[She grins and hops up and moves over to the device and presses each button for good measure. Never hurts to have extra supplies. ALLEZ CUISINE!]

Ohhh! French toast! That’s brilliant! We can use the eggs for that! Hey hey, this might end up sort of fancy, actually???

The cafe being cute and stocking good ingrediants was a lucky break. Karaoke in the theater was fun, but I've been craving something sweet since we got here, and the closest the vending machine in the cafeteria had was a "mystery flavor Jolly Rancher."
